Collaborations
Internal and External Collaborations
As an interdisciplinary research institute, the Institute for Energy Solutions facilitates collaboration between U-M researchers, industry, government, and non-profit organizations. IES supports inter-unit research efforts, such as the Energy-Focused Living Learning Laboratories, and connects external stakeholders with the U-M expertise that best fits their research and engagement goals. IES also houses MI Hydrogen, a joint venture by the Office of the Vice President for Research, Michigan Engineering, and the School for Environment and Sustainability designed to provide the leading research necessary to accelerate the use of hydrogen beyond current industrial limits.
We regularly partner with internal and external organizations and are happy to make connections and collaborate on research projects (see below for a sample of engagement opportunities.) IES is also developing a U-M International Energy Research Community. Please reach out to [email protected] to get in touch with one of our team members and explore partnership opportunities.
