Biography
Dr. Anchal Sareen is an Assistant Professor in the Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan. Dr. Sareen was previously a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. She obtained her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Monash University, Clayton, Australia, and a Master’s in Fluid Mechanics from École Polytechnique, Palaiseau, France. Dr Sareen’s Lab develops innovative flow control strategies that enhance the efficiency and maneuverability of unmanned underwater and aerial vehicles, improve the performance of bio-inspired propulsion systems, and augment the harvesting capacity of novel renewable energy systems.
