Biography
Professor Dewey Jung has over 30 years of academic and professional experience in mechanical and automotive engineering. He received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Michigan in 2001. Dr. Jung is a recipient of the Distinguished Research Award from the University of Michigan-Dearborn (2012). His research focuses on thermal and fluid sciences and their application to advanced energy conversion systems in automotive contexts. This includes internal combustion engine processes and systems, hybrid/electric powertrains, fuel cell systems, vehicle thermal and energy management, solar energy systems, and the integration, modeling, and simulation of vehicle systems.
