Institute for Energy Solutions is Offering Signing Bonuses to admitted PhD students in energy!
IES is offering signing bonuses to encourage admitted PhD student in energy (broadly defined) to choose the University of Michigan. Each U-M faculty member may select one admitted PhD student per year to nominate for a signing bonus. This is also an opportunity for the student to network with multidisciplinary energy researchers at the University of Michigan, through IES programming, which they will be invited to participate in once they arrive on campus. Selected PhD students will receive a $1,000 signing bonus paid directly to them once they commit to U-M and arrive on campus to start their program.
Interested faculty should complete the IES Signing Bonus request form for up to one prospective PhD student applicant. The request form should be completed after the professor makes an offer and before the student accepts.
