Biography

Professor Yang received his Ph.D. from Yale University in 1971. Since then he has held appointments at New York University, the Argonne National Laboratory, State University of New York at Buffalo and Brookhaven National Laboratory, as well as the National Science Foundation. He has been recognized by organizations worldwide such as the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the National Academy of Inventors, the US Department of Energy and the National Taiwan University for his achievements in chemical engineering, has published two books and over four hundred journal articles, and holds thirty-three US patents.
