Biography

Prof. Cameron Aubin joined the University of Michigan in 2024 as an assistant professor in the Robotics Department. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University in 2023. Prof. Aubin’s research lies at the intersection of robotics, materials science, and energy storage/power delivery systems. Specifically, he is focused on finding ways to increase the endurance and adaptability of modern robots through the development of multifunctional energy storage systems. His research interests include redox flow batteries, chemical fuels, and in adjacent fields, soft robotics, microrobotics, and autonomous materials.
